It was glorious. While many were still soundly asleep, enjoying the cool that the rain brought, the
CHASErs gathered at Salvation Army at 8.30am this morning to prepare for the concert in the afternoon. It was so busy. Set up, sound check, praise & worship, prayer, rehearsals, rectifying problems, buying food, make-up and etc. Everyone was busy, everyone was nervous, everyone was excited. Everyone had a role to play.
It was a scene I think I'll never be able to forget. We were like a big family, working together, sweating together, laughing together, praying together, and most importantly... The encouragement we
intentionally gave each other.
I must say this -
"Thank you for the efforts in keeping that smile on your face throughout the day despite the situations we faced. It really helped alot." Time was precious and it was flying really fast. (Well, the 10min-lagging clock in the auditorium in the hall didn't exactly helped much) But thank God, we managed to complete two full dress runs within two hour. During the last hour, all were getting nervous and I think some of our us were getting sweaty palms!
People started strolling in at 1.20pm and soon the registration area was congested with so many youths I could hardly breathe. 1.45pm, the doors opened and the seats slowly filled up.
At 2.30pm,
CHASE officially started with a BANG!
Want the details? Hee.. Come see for yourself tmr!
