For those who gave their hearts to Jesus during CHASE, we welcome you into this new family. :)
Truly, our Heavenly Father is worthy of all praises.
.
There's no word limit.
It was glorious. While many were still soundly asleep, enjoying the cool that the rain brought, the
CHASErs gathered at Salvation Army at 8.30am this morning to prepare for the concert in the afternoon. It was so busy. Set up, sound check, praise & worship, prayer, rehearsals, rectifying problems, buying food, make-up and etc. Everyone was busy, everyone was nervous, everyone was excited. Everyone had a role to play.
It was a scene I think I'll never be able to forget. We were like a big family, working together, sweating together, laughing together, praying together, and most importantly... The encouragement we
intentionally gave each other.
I must say this -
"Thank you for the efforts in keeping that smile on your face throughout the day despite the situations we faced. It really helped alot." Time was precious and it was flying really fast. (Well, the 10min-lagging clock in the auditorium in the hall didn't exactly helped much) But thank God, we managed to complete two full dress runs within two hour. During the last hour, all were getting nervous and I think some of our us were getting sweaty palms!
People started strolling in at 1.20pm and soon the registration area was congested with so many youths I could hardly breathe. 1.45pm, the doors opened and the seats slowly filled up.
At 2.30pm,
CHASE officially started with a BANG!
Want the details? Hee.. Come see for yourself tmr!

Last night was our first full dress rehearsal.
Chairs were cleared, instruments and equipments were rearranged, the Musicians and P.A crew set up the system, dramatists and dancers rushed to change into their costumes... We started with a short praise and worship, and then moved on to prayer.
We went through the briefing of what we were going to do and the timeline. 15 mins final preparations before we started. And when the clock hits 8.10pm. The rehearsal set off proper.
It started good, it ended good as well.
Fom the start of the program, all the way to end.. the smile still tugs at my lips. And even now as I recall the series of events that happened last night, I can't help but still feel the excitement! I'm lost for words to describe to you the scene that went on last night. You have to see it for yourself!
People, don't miss this! It's gonna be a time that will shake you inside out, a concert that will leave you wanting for more, a glorious moment where Jesus will be lifted up.
5 days to
CHASE. Look out

11 days away from this planet shaking event! Gee. I'm feeling the butterflies in my stomach, quickening of my pulse, and the adrenaline rush in me right now!
The program teams are all working their last lap to perfect their practices and giving their very best to fine tune the minor mistakes. The committee members are all looking into the final details and working on our last phase of the prep work for this concert. We have no time to lose.
With all of the people involve putting in their best effort, I know that
Chase will turn out great. But should I be contented to let it remain as "
great", I miss the mark.
Great means a little more than just success achieved by mere human efforts.
There's only so much we can achieve with our own strengths and wisdom. Should we boast about anything at all? To be honest, we started out not very well. Looking at the way things are now as compared to weeks ago, I can only bow my head and smile.
I have nothing to boast about at all, neither can anyone claim any credits for anything. It is God who have led us thus far, and even now, God is still doing something so wonderful in the midst of us.
Its gonna be a glorious battle. But now, God has to prepare and do His sifting work before leading us there. Pray with us, will you? :)
"Let go of the insignificance, so that you can be involve in the significance..." - Quoted from HS

Sally says:My family. Me, my brother, my mom, and my daddy.
I love my daddy but… I’m not too sure if he loves me. He's never mentioned it before. I asked my mom before why daddy never says “I love you” to me. She smiled and said, “That’s the problem with men.”
Nevertheless, I still love him.
Allan says:When I was younger, I was very naughty. I think I’m a direct descendant of Adam. I would never do what my daddy said. Whenever he instructed not to, I would purposely do it. It was so silly. He told me not to touch the boiling kettle, I purposely did. I had a bandage on my arm for the next two weeks.
Ian says:I remember there was once, I think I was only seven year old, I was so angry with him for giving more attention to his computer than me, I sneaked up behind and pulled off the computer cables. His face turned so black I thought he was poisoned. When he scolded and shouted at me, I thought he'd never forgive me. The next morning at the breakfast table, he passed me an extra sausage from his plate.
Valerie says:
Whenever the battle starts, when me and my mom started to scream, my dad would charge for the enemy. Like a warrior, he would roll up his sleeve and the grab the newspaper in his hand, without a word, he’d smack the cockroach flat. Then my mom would look at him with a dreamy look. I think I heard her whispered, “Oh my hero~”
